PRHS Orientation for Participants
About Course
One of the most important roles of a peer is to create a safe, love-filled space that is conducive to recovery. Each participant shall be greeted upon arrival. All participants are provided a gift bag with soap, a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, and personal items. These items are to be on the new Participants’ beds upon arrival. If items are not on hand be sure to let Operations Manager know so that they can be procured. Peers are the participants’ first contact and make all the difference in their stay at the Light of Truth Center.
Another important part of the opening welcome to the LTC program is the orientation process for new participants. Peers are responsible to provide the orientation to participants within 24-72 hours upon their entry.
